Books

When I was in middle school in Yokohama Japan I came across the book "Tim Page's Vietnam" in our school library. I can recall hours spent on multiple occasions where I would stare into the images. While in Afghanistan I scoured the web and ordered the book so that while I photographed my war, I could look to Tim Page as an example. When I returned home I knew that despite my love of the Gallery setting for the display of art, I wanted others to get that same experiance. That is what lead me to author photo books, which below are available for purchase.

In Time

War is gunfire, explosions and noise - but it is also every day life. Follow the journey of modern war through the lens.

Unlike most photographers focused on scenes of combat and conflict, Dale focuses on the ordinary - living in a 45 man tent, celebrating holidays, and the worst attack on Bagram Air Field.

Stationed on Camp Sabalu-Harrison which at the time was 4 miles away from Afghanistan's most important air base in Parwan Province, Dale kept his camera rolling to deliver stunning images of a world a world away. (Also available as an e-book)

Selective Memory

Selective Memory is a graphical in depth look at the installation piece by Danielle Cole titled "The Art of Losing." The work which towers at an astonishing 12 feet is examined up close, taking you into the personal depths of the artist and her struggle.
